About Esolperth

About us

Esolperth is fundamentally an English language learning environment. However, we have a structure that encourages integration at a family friendly level.

Originally started in 2015 in response to a request for lessons outside the normal working day, we have expanded to offer a wide range of family friendly projects.

We would say that we teach the individual person and we adapt to meet their needs. We have a group of 4 tutors who all volunteer at the moment as we don’t have funding for salaries. We also have a group of volunteers, including our Board members, who support our activities.

We deliver 12 hours of ESOL lessons a week, including evenings and Saturdays.

We are transferring online at this present moment. www.esolperth.co.uk

We run a Toddler group, with an very informal 15 minute session of ESOL included.

All our lessons are free.

We look for funding from other charities such as the Big Lottery

Our aims

The main aim of Esolperth is to improve the quality of life for people from other countries, by teaching them how to speak, read and write in English.

Our objectives

Inclusion, empowerment and independence for all our students, regardless of their country of origin.

To make a positive change to the lives of our students,

so they have the opportunity to be the best that they can be.

We will achieve this with an attitude of friendship and co-operation,

with respect for their culture and beliefs
