No one should be made destitute because they had the courage to report their abuser. Help PKAVS raise funds to support Faith.
Faith (not her real name) fled her country in 2005, after being tortured and raped for protesting against the government. Her husband abused her. She reported him and he is now in prison. Her immigration status means that she is not allowed to work. She has been living on small grants from charities and gifts from friends for over a year. She hopes to be granted asylum so that she can work. We want to raise £5,000 to contribute to her rent and living costs for as long as possible.
Any money remaining once Faith's status has been confirmed will be donated to Amina Muslim Women's Resource Centre's hardship fund to support others in similar situations.
If you are able, please give a little to help Faith.
